Football Captain Takashi Shirogane always looked like he had a charmed life. A full ride scholarship to a top university, worshipping fans wherever he turned, never wanting for a single thing. Keith’s never needed to have anything to do with him. Keith has his own problems, his own friends, his art. They’re from two different worlds.
But one day, Shiro doesn’t come home. One day, there’s blood all over the streets but no body. And it’s Keith, and only Keith, who can see Shiro, shirt splattered with blood, panicking through a hallway of people who ignore and pass right through him.
It’s only Keith who can see his ghost. And it’s only Keith who can help him find who did it.
Keith takes a swim, gains a secret admirer, and finds something to live for.
There’s a cut on his bottom lip, a row of tiny lacerations that smart when he pulls at them to get a better look.
He doesn’t notice the bruise on his upper arm until the next day. He catches the edge of it at the corner of his eye when he’s pulling on a fresh shirt: blue lines, like stripes, but when he turns and twists to see how they ring his arm, he realizes what they look like.
AU where Keith is home from college for the first time in two years, Shiro is a neighbor who moved home to recover from an accident, and Krolia gets straight to the point.
“This week on Altea Unsolved, we investigate the Blade of Marmora, a secretive group on the outskirts of Balmera, Indiana,” Shiro begins. “The organization has long been rumored to be all sorts of things over the years – assassins, mercenaries, a branch of the illuminati-”
Keith sighs from beside Shiro.
“-and my personal favorite, alien soldiers from another universe.”
Keith sighs again, heavier this time.
“I hear that sigh, Keith, but I’m gonna go ahead and ignore it.”
“You always do,” Keith answers with a smirk.
“One day, you’ll see!” Shiro laughs. “My theories could absolutely be true!”
“You believe the illuminati is real.”
“You know I’ve seen a lizard person, Keith.”
“That was a coyote! I was there!”

It’s been decades since a priest of any kind entered his woods and, as a werewolf guardian of the god of the forest, it’s Shiro’s duty to investigate when a red-cloaked witch bearing holy artifacts comes to call on the night of the full moon. Little does the wolf know, but this witch has brought a collar…
Or, an evening of fun is had by all and Keith discovers his inner furry.
During his time in the Quantum Abyss, Keith found his future visions to be less clear than the past. Hazy, or heavily fragmented at best. There was one, though, coming only a night before they arrived at the end of the Abyss, that he still thought of long after the resulting struggle with Lotor. A young girl, vividly terrified of thunderstorms, who loved drawing and the color purple, came to him so clearly that he almost swore it had to be a memory.
At the war’s end, the paladin who had always feared he would never have a family to call his own carves a loving, comfortable home for himself alongside his life partner and best friend, Shiro, a cosmic wolf, and the girl of his dreams.
when keith’s best friend lance and his wife pass away in an accident and leave their young daughter marianna without a family or a home, keith adopts her and raises her as best as he can. maintaining his career as a sex worker and trying to manage a young child when he’d never wanted to be a parent is hard, but he’s managing. when marianna starts kindergarten and they meet her handsome teacher, takashi shirogane, things get a bit more complicated.
Keith says I love you, and Shiro’s existence shifts away from Haggar’s
orders. Keiths says I love you, and Shiro is his once more. Meaner and
rougher at his edges.

HOLIDAYS AREN’T KEITH’S FORTE. He won’t even try to
pretend they are, frankly. Holidays involved families, and bonding, and
love that Keith just didn’t have the opportunity to experience. Though
it would bother someone else, for Keith it’s an unavoidable fact that he
learned to live with long before he went to college. It’s alright
anyway, there’s more for him to enjoy than the holiday season. There’s
still snow, that fell pure and white from the clouds on a good day. Even
though the aftermath is usually never favorable, Keith always makes
sure to stop and enjoy the snow while it’s white; blinding and beautiful
as it falls onto everything in sight. The silver lining of winter, he
likes to presume it as. Winter, as beautiful as its exterior has always
been, Keith still feels cold. The silver lining can only last for so
long. But this year, he has Shiro.
Shiro, who sparked an inferno so bright, he just might be able to make it through the winter without freezing to death.
Though Shiro is currently operating his fledgling bakery business out of a decrepit food truck he got for cheap in a repossession sale, he dreams of something more: a cozy bakery and cafe on a tree-lined street somewhere, filled with the smell of fresh coffee and sugar glaze instead of diesel. A little money could go a long way to helping him get off the ground– and luckily, Keith has money to burn.
Or: Keith takes care of Shiro’s financial woes, in exchange for a little sugar.
“Strangers putting their lives in the hands of science… with a little help from their friends.”
Lance thinks Keith needs some romance in his life– but he knows Keith won’t go looking for it on his own so he signs Keith up for a unique experiment designed to determine if science can predict true love.
The Holt siblings think Shiro works too hard and under that very capable façade lies a soft heart that just needs a bit of love. They’re skeptical of the experiment’s professed success rate but they encourage Shiro to apply – it’s all in the name of science after all.

There’s no one else as mean as Takashi Shirogane on the competitive circuit. There’s also no one else as hot as Takashi Shirogane on the competitive circuit.
My dear friend @starpilotkeith was inspired by the little drawing I made… Here is the magnificient result she wrote!

It was a cool autumn day, with a clear blue sky and cottony clouds. The lush grass of the cemetery was painted orange, brown, and yellow by the fallen leaves. The two of them had just finished clearing the leaves, twigs, and nuts around the headstone and the younger boy crouched down on the ground.
Shiro relished the feeling of the crisp air gently caressing his cheek, gaze fixed on the younger boy whose face had the gentlest smile and eyes were filled with so much longing. Keith’s voice was soft and calming but laced with sadness as he spoke.
“Hey, dad. I made it. I’m a cadet at the Galaxy Garrison now. Remember how we watched all those spaceship launches? I promised I’ll fly one someday to find mom. And you promised you’ll drop me off at the Garrison on my first day.”
Shiro’s face contorted in pain at those words. His chest hurt at the next.
“You never got to drop me off… But I’ll keep my promise, dad. I’ll fly out there and find mom.”
Looking at the grave, Shiro made a silent vow.
‘Your son’s potential is beyond any I’ve ever seen. He’s the best pilot the Galaxy Garrison ever had, and I’ll personally see to it that his dreams come true.’“Oh and dad?” Keith’s voice snapped Shiro out of his reverie. “Look, I have a new friend. You don’t need to worry. I’m not alone anymore.”Heat engulfed Shiro’s chest upon hearing those words. He knelt down beside the younger pilot. Ruffling his dark mullet locks, he spoke with confidence and resolve.“It is an honor to meet you. My name’s Shiro, and your son’s in good hands.”Fin.
