I don’t NEED THIS RIGHT NOW!!” you shouted, kicking the vending machine outside the shitty little motel you’d stopped at for the night. You dropped your head to the front of the machine, silently praying that your Snickers would just fall down already. It’d been a long day of driving, and tired and hungry as you were, you just wanted a candy bar. You cursed at the machine, feebly hitting the blasted thing again, lamenting the loss of the last of your change. “Evil robot overlords. Stupid vending machines,” you grumbled at the plexiglass.

Just as you were about to give up and find a decent place to eat, the deep rumble of a big block engine neared, a familiar black car turning into the lot. The passenger door swung open before the car even parked, Sam climbing out all tall and as handsome as you remembered.

“Hey you,” he called, long strides eating up the space between you quickly.

“Winchesters come to steal my hunt?” you asked with a smile, before getting completely engulfed in a patented Winchester Hug™. You were amazed at how a simple hug could calm your frayed nerves, and if you hugged a little tighter than strictly necessary, Sam never mentioned it.
