I don’t completely agree with this conversation. because dr. chakwas was with shepard in all 3 games, garrus and tali were with shepard in all 3 games. 
but it’s still true that joker was with shepard the longest. they met each other before the beginning of me1. joker was there during the battle of the citadel. he was the first familiar face to join after shepard came back. and joker even said those 2 years without shepard were hell for him. he was there during the suicide mission. he was there when earth first got hit. he was there in the last battle. 

I just really like the relationship between these two.
