When he’s not fighting in a war, he’s training. When he’s not training, he’s solving conflicts within the team. When he’s not solving conflicts within the team and being the ultimate space dad, he’s going over battle plans.
And if he’s not doing any of that he’s dead and his spirit is trapped in the black lion
He’s VERY busy, and VERY stressed.
This time around, he’s reviewing the reports of a recent battle, trying to calculate the costs and gains and whatnot.
S/O understands that he’s busy, and that he can’t afford to spend much time talking to them, but that doesn’t mean they don’t miss him.
So, instead of distracting him by trying to start up a conversation, they simply plant a small kiss on his cheek, and crawl into his lap.
Shiro is just floored.
Here he is, in his own little world of numbers and casualties, when this beautiful, fantastic S/O of his decides to drop by.
He sighs and mutters a soft ‘hello there’ before continuing on his work. He finds that with their presence so near him, it’s a lot easier.
When he hears them start to snore in his lap, he simply chuckles.
Shiro: “Maybe it’s time for a break…”
Cue cuddling together and taking a nap~
Keith
His reaction is dependent on a couple of things:
1) What exactly is he working on?
2) How tired is he?
3) Are they in public?
If he’s working on something huge, he’ll probably tell his S/O in the nicest way that he can that he needs some space to work on it. Knowing that his S/O is waiting for him will get him to finish it faster though!
If it’s something he deems unimportant though, he’s just going to kinda shut down as he processes the adorableness that his his S/O falling asleep on his lap.
If he’s really tired (like if he’s been working on it forever) he’ll give in to the comfort that is his S/O being so near and warm, and fall asleep with them. He likes naps more than he lets on, especially with his S/O.
If it’s in public, it’s a no go entirely. If there are other people in the room with him, he doesn’t like it. He’s not huge on PDA, since he doesn’t like the idea of everyone staring at him.
But if it’s just the two of them, he’s ALL for it~
ngl i always imagine his S/O coming in while he’s doing push ups and just falling asleep on his back and he’s just like “….?”
In any scenario, he’s flustered and blushing like an idiot. How can anyone be so cute?
Lance
Lance’s desire to prove himself sometimes causes himn to take on way more work than he can handle.
That’s… not a good thing…
so sometimes he gets like really busy, and can tend to overexert his energy
HOWEVER
if his S/O crawls into his lap and falls a s l e e p

this boy will stop WHATEVER he is doing and totally freak out over how cute his S/O is being
If anyone starts making any noise, he’ll give them a death stare. He almost shot Keith because he dropped a cup and he felt his S.O stir.
He had to convey to Hunk without using any words (which was very difficult) to GO GET THE CAMERA AND TAKE A PICTURE
He’s savoring this while he can.
He’ll softly sing to his S/O to ensure they stay comfortable and asleep~
Hunk
There’s is only one possible outcome to this scenario with Hunk:
He’s seems cool and collected when his S/O first climbs on top of him
and then they fall asleep.
He picks them up
puts them into bed (with a ton of pillows and blankets ofc)
and freaks the FUCK OUT
HOW CUTE WAS THAT
HE’S ABSOLUTELY DYING
He is trying, so, SO hard to not make any noise as he nearly cries from the cuteness that was that
He compares to having a tiny puppy fall asleep on you, only 1000x cuter, which he didn’t even think would be possible, because tiny animals falling asleep on you are adorable.
After he calms down a little bit. he crawls into bed with his S/O and naps with them. Work be damned, his S/O is more important!
Pidge
If it weren’t for her S/O, she’d never stop working.
But when she spends too much time working on a new program/mechanism, her S/O knows exactly how to get her to stop.
They approach her from behind and wrap their arms around her, resting their head on her shoulder, and just lay there.
The first time it happened, Pidge just shut d o w n.
It was so unexpected, but really nice at the same time?
She gets extremely flustered when shown physical affection, so she turning cherry red while trying to work, but her mind is in five other places with her S/O so close to her.
In the end, she always gives in, and takes a break. She just can’t handle that much stuff going on at once!
If her S/O were to fall asleep as well, she wouldn’t notice until she tried to get up and felt their weight on her.
An she wouldn’t want to disturb her S/O by getting up, oh no. Maybe she could use some rest as well///
Shiro comes in later to see the pair fast asleep, the computer screen shining on Pidge’s face, filled with forgotten work.
He smiles, wraps a blanket around the pair, and leaves them be.
All I want in this world is for Alistair to grow fat and old and happy with the loving partner of his choice.
… And then I reserve a special place in my heart for the ‘if Alistair had ALL the babies he’d name ALL the babies Duncan’ AU. Duncan, Duncanna, Duncanessa, Duncan IV, Wee Duncan, Baby Wee Duncan, Duncould, Duncant, I mean the list could go on and on.
If Alistair had babies, he would totally baby his babies more than Bree. She can be a taskmaster when she puts her mind to it.
This is so so late, but I wanted to say thanks for the compliment! I’ve been surprised in the best of ways by how positive–or at least not openly negative–people have been about my Cullen x Amell ship. Now granted, that may be because the majority of people might not know it’s a Cullen x Amell ship, but I’ll take what I can get.
